Team Info for Coaches and Managers
CHECK LIST to review before the

Ball & Inline Hockey required to hold your spot? The direction of the KIYHSF puts
considerable effort
planning all particulars of this event including securing ice space,
scheduling, and much more.

Accommodation: Did you book your
hotel rooms!
Book hotel
rooms in advance as Kingston is a Tourism city!
All teams should stay at an authorized Kingston
International Youth Hockey Festival/Sports hotel as they are key
supporters of this event & tournament rates have been negotiated for
teams participating in this event. Thank you in advance for your
collaboration.

Rules. Did you read and print the tournament
rules for the activity you
participate
before the tournament. Click on the activity in the top menu to
display the rulings corresponding to the activity that you are

Air Travel. Please inform
parents and players that they need to bring passports along if they
fly from any country to Canada.

Sports
Facility Complex Location and Directions. Do you have adequate
directions to
the sports facility complex in Kingston, On, Canada?

Team
roster for the tournament program to be submitted 3 WEEKS
prior the date of the event. Please submit a final roster
10 days
before the start of the first tournament game.

Insurance. All teams must arrange for their own
insurance. If you need insurance for your team, please visit
sportsinsurance.com and contact/talk to an agent to insure your
team for tournaments. Thank you.
Please note that a player must participate in at
least 1 game during the preliminary round games of the
tournament to be eligible for the playoff round.
Please verify that any player that you
invite may only play for a single team at one specific level
(1998, for example) during the tournament.
Date of the activity. Did you inform all parents and players about the
date of the
sport activity?
Did you check the
final schedule carefully a few days before coming to
this Hockey/Hockey event in case of last minute changes? Local teams
and the ones located closed to Kingston may play 1 game on Thursday evening.
Games may start at 7:00 a.m.
Always be at the rink 45
minutes before the game in case we need to start a game earlier.
Please make arrangements to be in Kingston the day before in case your
team is drawn to play an early game. Last game may start
between 9:00 p.m. or 10:00
p.m.
Insurance Waiver Form if
necessary. You may
receive the "Insurance Waiver form" a few weeks before the date of the
activity/event and we will ask you to send it to each player of your
team to be completed and submitted before the first game. These waiver
forms must be signed by parents/tutors and every player must have one
completed. The team coach or manager in collaboration with the
parent/tutor must make sure that the
Insurance
Waiver Form is handed in at registration at the tournament
location before any player can play his first game.
