Staff & Volunteer
SUMMARY
The Direction of the Kingston International Youth Hockey/Sports
Festival is looking for energetic & highly qualified hockey
instructors, and highly motivated
administrative staff enthusiast to join our
dynamic sports festival Team. You will be retained on a part-time basis
and be instrumental in executing some of this event's most important and
exciting initiatives. You have passion for kids and will like to
dedicate your efforts to youth development & skills enhancement.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Assist in both coaching and instructing young players.
- Be willing to work as scorekeepers and/or administrate staff
during this event.
- Teach specific skills related to the sport
offered at this festival, and
- Provide a high level of
customer interaction and knowledge of the sports festival to parents
and players.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Outgoing, knowledgeable in the sport, hard working and passionate
about this major event taking place in Kingston, ON.
- Prior coaching experience and/or certification is a plus.
- Must have flexible schedule as majority of activities will be from
Thursday PM to Sunday PM.
- Be willing (if you do not have already) to gain a strong
understanding of the Kingston International Youth Hockey/Sports Festival
(history, current news, philosophy, vision, etc.) as you will be
trained by our experienced Tournament Team.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Customer service oriented.
- 18 years of age or older.
