Ringette Skills Clinics                                                             FRENCH

BASIC RINGETTE CLINICS: Defensive skills, ring skills & power shooting, and goalie training. These skill development clinics will be integrated in the ringette festival so the players are able to implement their new skills immediately during the festival games.

• Defensive Skills: 1-on-1 situations, defensive channeling, proper positioning, etc.; includes skating instruction on pivots, backwards stride, backwards crossovers.
• Ring Skills/Power Shooting: passing, spearing, protecting the ring; wrist shots, backhand wrist shots, includes skating instruction on tight turns and acceleration, and creating offensive opportunities, etc.; and
• Goalie Training: goalie instruction that focuses on basic positioning, agility,  balance, ring distribution with the glove and the stick, save recovery and rebound control. 

INSTRUCTORS: Instructors will be from the staff of Excellence Ringuette which includes past and present players and coaches from the Canadian National Ringette Team and current National Ringette League players. Click here for Staff Qualifications.

RINGETTE CLINICS (2) REGISTRATION fee per player: $ 50 Can (non refundable as we have limited space). Registration fee covers both clinics. All ringette players, not just those registered in the sports festival are welcome to participate in the clinics to improve their skills.
