RECRUITING STRATEGY FOR COACHES and PLAYERS

The direction of Hockey Sports Fests has partnered with CaptainU to provide players that participate in our event to document their hockey profile and to facilitate the recruiting process for PREP schools and Colleges. To make a college team, athletes must actively market themselves to college coaches. CaptainU teaches athletes how to do this.

CaptainU is an online recruiting platform used by over 200,000 athletes, parents, and coaches and provide their participants with dynamic player profiles, access to college coaches, and tools to allow prospects to be pro‐active in the recruiting process by promoting themselves to college programs.

CaptainU may have professional videographers filming the games as they can offer affordable highlight video and game film packages (see samples below). This video medium makes it easier than ever to get quality footage in front of college coaches and also provides a great way to remember a tournament.
