Boys High School Ontario Cup Tournament                                           FRENCH

 Our long term strategic goal is to provide a competitive tournament to high school players to help them to become better student athlete while achieving academic & hockey performance. They will have the opportunity to pursue the College route or the Junior route after they graduate from high school if they desire.

Age: 12-13 & 14-17 years old   Competition level: A/AA

Register early as we have limited space. First one arrived, first one served. The schools participating in our event 2010 will give priority for future high schools tourneys that we will organize.

ICE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Preliminary rounds

  • 3 games guaranteed and "(2) 17-minutes periods stopped-time". No overtime.

  • Pre-game warm-up will be three minutes non-stopped time.

Playoff Format on Sunday

  • The four top teams will advance to the Playoff Round if more than 5 teams in the same division. If not, only 2 teams will advance if 4 teams or less in that division.
  • Each playoff game will consist of "(2) 15-minute periods" stopped -time with "5-on-5 Game" format. There will be overtime and shootout until there is a winner and a loser. Pre-game warm-ups will be three minutes.
  • One "30-second timeout" will be permitted by each team only in the playoff game.

  • First game starts on Friday 1:00Pm and tournament over at 4:00PM on Sunday
