H1N1 Prevention
The Direction of
the Kingston International Youth Hockey & Sports Fests will take all
precautionary measures to protect the young athlete in his sports
complex facility against H1N1.
The event takes place in one of the most modernized
sports facility with the best technology in place to maintain a safe,
caring, and clean sports complex. Do not worry, you will be amazed by
the prevention measures that our sports organization will implement to
protect the child against H1N1 and we strongly feel that there is no
cleanest safe place to play a weekend sports tournament in North
America:
- Full time cleaners on duty all weekend to clean all dressing rooms
after each game played.
- Sanitizing stations at the entrance of the
sports complex to clean your hands.
- Certified athletic therapist on duty all weekend trained about the
H1N1 flu.
- Preventive instructions in dressing rooms to
help players to clean properly their hands and body after playing the
game.
- Hockey Equipment removed from the sports
complex if players in a team infected with this H1N1 flu & sports
equipment will be sanitized.
- We will ask teams not to shake hands before or
after games with hockey gloves removed.
- We will ask teams not to share towels, water
bottles, soap or any other item with any other player at any time.
- If the player coughs, has aching joints, or
present some kind of H1N1 symptoms, our certified staff in place will
check the player with carefulness.
