Tournament Basic Info for GIRLS ICE HOCKEY (22-24 June 2012)           FRENCH

Welcome to our Girls Ice Hockey Tournament. Last year, closed to 40 girls teams participated as several players have been scouted and invited. We expect a high-level competition in 2012 while players and teams from  Eastern Canada, Ontario, and US will be present. College scouts are invited to JOIN.   Where you there in 2011, if not JOIN US in 2012!

Team Entry fee:  $999 ($884+13% HST). Click here to register. Register early as we refused teams last year. First one arrived, first one served.

Individual Player registration: $145 for 4 games guaranteed. Click here to register.

Levels: U8 (2003 below) U10 (2001/2002), 1999 Level, U12 (1999/2000), 1998 Level,
           U14 (1997/1998), U17 (1994/1995/1996) & U21-Junior/Intermediate/CEGEP.

ICE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Preliminary rounds

• 4 games guarantee and "(2) 18-minutes periods stopped-time". No overtime.

• One "30-second timeout" will be permitted for each team.

• Pre-game warm-up will be three minutes non-stopped time.

Playoff Format

• 2 or 3 potential games.
• Each playoff game will consist of "(2) 15-minutes periods" stopped -time with "5-on-5 Game" format. There will be overtime and shootout until there is a winner and a loser.
• One "30-second timeout" will be permitted by each team.

HOCKEY RULES & REGULATIONS: Please download the rules and regulations and print them. Please read them carefully.

SKILLS CLINICS on Thursday before the tournament: Power skating and puck handling skills to prepare the player for the tournament. Click here for more info and registration. Players may register individually for these clinics, and are welcome whether or not they participate in the tournament.
