Our long term strategic goal is to provide players with an opportunity to compete against, develop, and play with top teams and players in the world. This goal will be achieved through a top summer tournament, skills clinics, elite camps, elite traveling teams and tours as shown in the following diagram:

Who should participate?
If you can run you can play! Anyone who can play, want to enjoy and learn the game? We encourage teams to register OR individual player to sign up and play with new friends:

- Boys' U8 (7 years old or less)
- Boys' U10 (8/9 years old)

Boys' U12 (10/11 years old)
- Boys' U14 (12/13 years old)
- Boys' U16 (14/15/16 years old)
- Girls' U12 (10/11 years old)
- Girls' U14 (12/13/14 years old)
  

The player’s age on January 1, 2010 determines their eligibility. Girls who want to play will be combined with the boys one year younger if we cannot offer the level your daughter wants to play. Girls team can join if they will like and we will decide which level they can play.

Why participate in this Ball hockey festival (Goals)?

to enhance cardiovascular fitness, agility, and muscle
   strength, same ones used in Ice Hockey

- to help strengthen your passing, shooting & stick
   handling skills while getting more confidence
- to help improving fast transitional play, and
- to learn cooperation and teamwork.

TOURNAMENT FEATURES & HIGHLIGHTS

  • 4 Games Guaranteed in the preliminary round on Friday & Saturday. No overtime in the preliminary.

  • "(2) 15-minutes periods stopped-time" for all games.

  • One "25-second timeout" will be permitted for each team at all times.

  • Warm up will be three minutes non-stopped time for all games.

  • Playoff Format on Sunday: The four teams in each division advance to the Playoff Round if more than 5 teams in the same division for each level. If not, only 2 teams will advance if 4  teams or less in that division. There will be overtime and shootout until there is a winner and a loser.

  • 6 potential games in this ball hockey festival.

  • On site athletic trainer & certified officials at all times.

  • Tournament operated by dedicated & experienced staff.

  • Photograph on site for team pictures and games available on DVD for souvenirs.

  • Team Trophy awarded to the championship team & team picture on the Web site.

  • Awards for the Champions and Finalists.

  • Tournament All Stars team selected and promoted on the Web site.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED. Protective gloves, hockey helmets with full face mask, running shoes, and shin pads/guards are mandatory. Elbow pads and a jock/jill strap are recommended, but optional. Goalie pads, chest protector, and protective cup for goaltenders. Each team must wear matching shirts properly numbered.

TOURNAMENT RULES

INDIVIDUAL PLAYER REGISTRATION -FEE: $ 40 Can (non refundable as we have limited space). You can play up to 6 games during this tournament.

TEAM REGISTRATION. Team Entry fee:  $ 375 Can for 4 games min. and covers the cost of qualified referees, timers, tournaments expense and awards. $25 reduction for each team if you register more than two (2) teams from the same organization.
